APA - Arrest of “Hedef” Youth Coalition chairman lifted

Baku. Elnur Mammadli – APA. Baku Appeals Court lifted arrest of Agasif Shakiroglu, member of Musavat Party Youth Organization and chairman of “Hedef” (Target) Youth Coalition, lawyer Bahruz Guliyev told APA. It was noted that the sentence of Narimanov district court was groundless and the court passed a decision to release Shakiroglu. Guliyev said the criminal case had not been cancelled.

Narimanov district court sentenced Shakiroglu to one month in jail. Shakiroglu was accused of draft evasion, criminal case was launched on article 321.1 of the Criminal Code.
